KeyForCare provides a platform for the health and medical care sector to actively work with the patient-driven health care development and improvement work. Real-time data presented in our OnLine system enhances the means for providing more expeditious and precise improvement work.
KeyForCare l PREM, KeyForCare l PROM and KeyForCare l TEAM are services developed in collaboration with the various operators and stakeholders involved in healthcare. They are used today in health and medical care, primary care, dental care and soon also in nursing. KeyForCare collects and presents the patients´ experiences of the care on selected occasions over the course of the patient journey. The points of view and experiences of employees provide additional input to help understand and improve the work on quality, and reveal discrepancies that can arise.

RESULTS IN REAL TIME – REPORTING EVERY WEEK AND MONTH
Our OnLine system allows you to monitor the responses of patients in real time, understand trends in NPS and satisfaction, and make comparisons between different units within your area of activity. You can also work on the written improvement proposals that are received in an easy-to-work-with and systematic way.
Strategic and clear reports are sent to our customers weekly and monthly. The reports are also available via the OnLine system.
On a monthly basis, the results are automatically transferred to internal reporting and healthcare company management systems for those who prefer this. Data can of course also be exported to be used for statistical analyses as well.
CUSTOMISED TO SUIT OPERATIONAL NEEDS AND DIRECTION
The patients provide feedback on a few validated questions, with in-depth follow up questions highlighting what they are dissatisfied with. The patients can also give praise and proposals for improvements, and indicate whether they want to participate actively in the development of healthcare.
The questions in the survey reflect what is most important to act on, and to have knowledge about, for a successful patient-driven development of the health care provided.
In order to be able to utilize the results from both a practical and strategic standpoint, we consider it vital to maintain a high level of quality and a common overall base. At the same time it is also necessary to adapt in line with the focus and activities that each unit has. Each medical practice, clinic or department therefore chooses the in-depth questions themselves, while benchmarks between units/operational areas can be set for general questions.
SURVEY ON IPAD OR VIA TEXT MESSAGE
We offer the solution for collecting responses that suits every unit in the best way. After the visit, patients can respond on an iPad at the unit. Another option is to ask the patients to give their telephone number on an iPad or to the register, upon arrival. The patient will then receive a text message following the visit and can respond using their mobile phone.
The wards often adopt the procedure whereby the patient answers the questionnaire on an iPad once they are discharged, but one can of course also use the text message function or provide a web address to the patient.
We also handle QR codes if the customer has patients who prefer this method, and questionnaires can also be sent directly to the patient if she/he has approved this.
SIMPLICITY FOR THE HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS AND PATIENTS
KKeyForCare can easily be introduced into the organisation without any additional administration. You rent an iPad and a floor stand/wall stand/table stand from us. We deliver the portable iPads in a sturdy protective shell.
In order to notify and remind patients as well as inspire the staff, you can make roll-ups, signs to hang on the walls, and top signs for the iPad.

To guarantee equal healthcare for everyone, KeyForCare is available in 18 different languages. The patient selects the language he/she wants to use.
ACTION PROPOSALS DRIVE THE IMPROVEMENT WORK
Each week, patients provide improvement proposals based on their experiences from their visit and the care provided. Eighty percent of the proposals involve actions that cost nothing to implement!
Systematically working with these proposals can improve the patients´ experiences of the health care without any need for extra resources. The proposals may also result in the more efficient use of resources. Our OnLine system offers a nice solution to work systematically with the proposals that are received.
The proposals for improvement and the measures they entail will also serve as important information to the general public showing that the work of the healthcare provider is focused on the patient.
PATIENTS WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTHCARE
Many patients want to participate and influence the development of healthcare in Sweden. In KeyForCare the patient has the option of providing her/his e-mail address in the questionnaire. The patient is subsequently contacted by the healthcare company when it wants to process the opinions of the patients on specific issues.
This may apply, for example, to how appointment letters are formulated, food in the wards, information on day-care units, etc. The collection and storage of e-mail addresses is subject to the conditions set for GDPR.

MONITORS PATIENTS FOLLOWING DISCHARGE OR SURGICAL PROCEDURE
Identifying and evaluating the various parts of the flow of healthcare contacts that many patients have, is of the utmost importance in order to be able to be made aware of and remedy the areas that need improvement.
KeyForCare | PROM makes it possible to monitor patients after any period of time. By way of example, this could be a follow-up 6 months after a surgical procedure, where the aim is to understand the outcome, and how the time after the procedure has been experienced by the patient.

FOR STAFF FEEDBACK
KeyForCare | TEAM is our instrument for understanding the views and experiences of staff across a range of areas. These include areas such as patient safety, patient focus, organisational health, management etc.
Our customers usually select one or two areas to focus on at one particular time, in order to be able to actively work in the staff group with the results that are received. Results from KeyForCare | TEAM can also be linked to KeyForCare | PREM, and provide information about the differences between staff and patients in how they experience the health care provided.
